Site Description

La Nana Bayou at Nacogdoches CR 526; 6.9 Miles South of Nacogdoches between FM 2863 and FM 3228.

Segment Description

Segment 0611B – La Nana Bayou (unclassified water body). This 32 mile freshwater stream extends from the confluence of the Angelina River south of Nacogdoches in Nacogdoches County to the upstream perennial portion of the stream north of Nacogdoches in Nacogdoches County. There are a couple of areas within the segment impaired for nonsupport of contact recreational use. These areas were first listed on the 303 (d) list in the year 2000 due to bacteria and are currently classified under category 5a. The areas included are from the mouth to SH 7.
